Leveraging decades of experience in strategic planning, executive management, and sales, Caleb Fort has served as the president of diagnostics firm QMX Mobile Health since 2014. In addition to his work with QMX, Caleb Fort is highly involved in several local charitable causes, and is a former vice president and board member of the South Carolina Historical Society (SCHS). After operating for more than seven decades in downtown Charleston’s historic Fireproof Building, SCHS relocated to the Addlestone Library in 2015. With the addition of the SCHS archives, the Addlestone Library now houses the largest collection of primary sources in South Carolina. The Marlene and Nathan Addlestone Library serves as the research library for the College of Charleston. The three-story building is named for a couple with deep roots in Charleston. Nathan Addlestone, the son of Lithuanian and Russian immigrants, spent his early years working in the city’s scrap metal yards. His disappointment with the local Hebrew School inspired him to support the Charleston Hebrew Institute, later renamed the Addlestone Hebrew Academy. The library was named in his honor after Addlestone's passing in 2001. The library opened its doors in 2005.
