Since 2014, Caleb Fort has served as president of QMX Mobile Health/Quality Mobile X-Ray, Inc., in Winston Salem, North Carolina, providing diagnostic imaging services to assisted living facilities and nursing homes throughout the state. To augment this work, Caleb Fort belongs to professional organizations such as the American Portable Diagnostics Association (APDA). A nonprofit dedicated to supporting members in the portable diagnostics industry, APDA upholds quality care services for those with disabilities and senior citizens in their own homes and in professional care facilities. The association also advocates for its members in Congress and with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Administration (CMS). Membership requirements include certification by Medicare and the offering of services in the realm of portable diagnostic services, such as blood testing, EKG, pulmonary function testing, ultrasound, and x-ray. The APDA executive and membership committee reviews each application for membership. Once admitted to the organization members receive benefits ranging from participation in a nationwide network to immediate updates on industry changes.
